FIDE has held the contest for creating chess problems and combinations in the eve of the 39 th World Chess Olympiad. The contest was held on 8 nominations: two-move problem, three-move problem, multipass problem, sketches, challenges for the cooperative mate, the challenges in reverse mate, fairy-problems and retro-problems.
