THE MALAYSIAN CHESS FESTIVAL
The annual Malaysian Chess Festival will take place from 28th August 2010 to 08 September 2010 at the CitiTel MidValley Hotel, MidValley MegaMall, Kuala Lumpur. For those below 16 years old, there will be a National Age-Group. There will be several categories from Under-8, Under-10, Under-12, Under-14 to Under-16. We encourage parents to register their children for this high profile chess event and make our very own Malaysian Chess Festival 2010 a success!
This year (2010) the Festival comprises of the following events;
28 - 31 August
30th ASTRO Merdeka Team Chess Championship
ASTRO Merdeka Individual Rapid Chess Championship
01 - 08 September
IGB Malaysia Open Chess Championship
AmBank Chess Challenge
Tan Sri Lee Loy Seng International Seniors Open
The National Age-Group Rapid Chess Championship
A new event, the International seniors open might be interesting to some older new-comers !!!!
