Chess Lessons At DATCC

11 April 2011, Kuala Lumpur - Here is a series of chess lessons being conducted at DATCC. For chess enthusiasts, this would be a golden opportunity to go back to basics on chess.

Chess Classes at DATCC for beginners will commence on Saturday, 16th April 2011 with its first weekly session. For the beginners session, 10 weeks of classes has been prepared with the following schedule and topics covered for the students.

Each session is 2 hours long at a fee of RM 50 per person per session or RM 400 (20% discount) for those who signed up for all 10 sessions. In order to maximize the learning and focus on the topic at hand, each session is limited to 12 students. Registration closes on 13th April. If responses are good, additional classes can be set up in the afternoon starting at 3:00pm - similarly, limited to 12 students per session.

The chess classes are for players of beginner level and those who are just about to learn chess including parents and teachers. Classes for the intermediate level and advanced level taught by a team of trainers including a local IM is also available.
