Chess Wire is a brand new app for iPad and iPod touch. It will provide you with chess news and videos from various chess websites around the world, including FIDE. It is available for download for FREE.

I just downloaded it for my iPad 2 and I like it. When you tap on the site you like, it will bring up the option for the latest story. Tap on read more and you can read the full article. Also, when it displays the lead story in portrait mode (or on iphone), you can swipe the screen right to left and go to the next story. Swipe the other way to go back to the previous story.
Chess Wire will also come up immediately if you search for it from your iPod touch / iPad. Check it out.
