6 May 2011, Kuala Lumpur – There will be a one-day chess rapid and blitz during the JomGEMPAUCarnival in Malacca on the 28th May 2011. The number of rounds of play will depend on the number of entries. If the number of entries is below 120 people, then it will be six rounds and if above 120 people, then it will be seven rounds of rapid chess games and blitz.
Four categories are offered: Men, Women, Under-15 and Under –12. Details of the event follow below:-
