On February 12, in Moscow, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met with the former World Chess Champion, FIDE Ambassador to international organizations Anatoly Karpov. The president and the ambassador discussed at the meeting the outcome of negotiations between FIDE leadership and the heads of international organizations, UNESCO, as well as the implementation of FIDE programme "Chess in Schools".
