“It is that time of the year again for the most important chess event in our annual calendar – the National Closed. This is the main event that will crown the best Men and Women player in the country, earning the coveted National Master title. With the SEA Games event set to be staged towards the end of the year, the top finishers in this year’s National Closed will also earned the opportunities to be selected as Malaysia’s representative in the regional biannual event.
The National Closed 2011 will be organized by Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF) and jointly organized and hosted by the Dato Arthur Tan Chess Center (DATCC).
