RERCAWI City Day Age Group Open Report

Schools and offices are closed on 1st February. Wilayah Chess Association (PERCAWI) had chess event at Cochrane. The tournament is 6 SWISS rounds of G/25 format.

The tourney has divided into two categories - Boys U18 and Girls U18. This event had attracted more than 70 participants. 

Who is the champion?

Kung Kah Keng was declared the winner Boys U18 after he managed to won 5 games and drew with Fikri Saleh.

 While in the girl section, the top seed Olivia Madhavan (Picture below) who is also the daughter of the PERCAWI's president, Collin Madhavan, won 5 games and drew 1.
